Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 1 cup+ cubed watermelon
- 1 cup+ coconut water
Instructions
- Prepare the Watermelon: Cut off the rind of your watermelon and chop the flesh into cubes to ensure easy blending and freezing.
- Fill the Ninja Creami Pint: Place the diced watermelon into a Ninja Creami pint container up to the max fill line. Next, pour coconut water into the same container until it reaches the max fill line.
- Freeze the Mixture: Seal the pint with its lid and place it on a level surface in the freezer. Freeze for 12 to 24 hours until the mixture is fully solid.
- Prepare for Processing: When ready, microwave the pint for 30 seconds or run its outside under hot water for a couple of minutes to slightly soften the mixture.
- Spin in Ninja Creami: Insert the pint into the Ninja Creami machine and select the sorbet setting for processing. Alternatively, the lite ice cream setting can be used if desired.
- Refine Texture: If the sorbet texture is dry or chunky after the first spin, perform additional spins until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
Notes
- Use fresh, ripe watermelon for the best flavor and natural sweetness.
- Ensure the pint container is placed on a level surface in the freezer to freeze evenly.
- Microwaving or warming the pint slightly before spinning helps prevent machine strain and improves texture.
- Re-spin the sorbet as needed to achieve your preferred creaminess.
- For variation, you can add a squeeze of lime juice or a handful of fresh mint leaves, but this will increase the ingredient count.
