  • Author: Naomi
  • Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 16 small squares 1x

Description

This decadent Bailey’s Fudge recipe combines rich semi-sweet chocolate with creamy sweetened condensed milk and the smooth flavor of Bailey’s Irish Cream, creating a silky, indulgent treat perfect for special occasions or gifting. Enhanced with optional chopped nuts for added texture, this no-bake fudge is simple to prepare and requires just a few ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts or pecans)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baking Dish: Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal of the fudge later.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
  3. Add Flavorings: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in Bailey’s Irish Cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until fully incorporated. If using, fold in the chopped nuts evenly into the mixture.
  4. Pour and Chill: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Place the dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm and set.
  5. Cut and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into small squares or rectangles and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Make sure to stir continuously when melting chocolate to prevent burning.
  • For a nut-free version, simply omit the nuts.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  • Allow fudge to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for a softer texture.
  • Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor.
