Description
Enjoy a delightful Carrot Cake Latte topped with smooth and tangy cream cheese cold foam, combining the warm spices of carrot cake syrup with rich espresso and creamy milk for a perfect cozy beverage.
Ingredients
Scale
Cold Foam
- 3 tbsp whipped cream cheese
- 2 tbsp vanilla syrup
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tbsp whole milk
Latte
- 2 tbsp carrot cake syrup
- ¾ cup 2% milk (or milk of choice)
- 2 oz espresso
- Ice, as needed
Instructions
- Prepare the cold foam: Add the whipped cream cheese, vanilla syrup, heavy cream, and whole milk to a small glass or jar. Froth them together using a milk frother until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Set this cold foam aside for topping later.
- Assemble the carrot cake latte: Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in the carrot cake syrup over the ice, then add the 2% milk. Stir gently to combine the syrup evenly with the milk. Next, slowly pour the freshly brewed espresso over the milk mixture to create a layered effect.
- Top with cold foam: Spoon or gently pour the prepared cream cheese cold foam over the top of the latte. Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious balance of creamy, sweet, and spiced flavors reminiscent of carrot cake.
Notes
- Use a milk frother for the best texture of the cream cheese cold foam; a handheld frother works well.
- Adjust the amount of carrot cake syrup depending on your sweetness preference.
- For a dairy-free latte, substitute 2% milk with almond, oat, or soy milk, and use dairy-free cream cheese alternatives for the cold foam.
- Freshly brewed espresso is best, but strong brewed coffee can be a substitute.
- Chill the glass beforehand for an extra refreshing experience.
