			French Toast Muffin Batter
- 4 cups day-old bread, cubed
 - 4 large eggs
 - 1 cup whole milk
 - ½ cup heavy cream
 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
 - 2 tsp vanilla extract
 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Topping
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
 - 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare muffin tin. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a muffin tin to prevent sticking.
 - Mix wet ingredients and spices. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
 - Incorporate the bread cubes. Gently fold the cubed day-old bread into the egg mixture and allow it to soak for about 5 minutes so the bread absorbs the custard.
 - Fill the muffin cups. Evenly distribute the soaked bread mixture into the prepared muffin cups and press down lightly to compact the mixture.
 - Bake the muffins. Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown on top and set in the center.
 - Add the topping. Right after removing the muffins from the oven, brush each with melted butter and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon sugar mixture for a sweet, crunchy finish.
 - Cool and serve. Allow the muffins to cool slightly before serving warm for the best texture and flavor experience.

Notes
- Use day-old or slightly stale bread to ensure the muffins absorb the custard without becoming mushy.
 - You can substitute whole milk with a milk alternative if desired, though the texture may vary slightly.
 - Feel free to add raisins or chopped nuts to the batter for added texture and flavor.
 - These muffins can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerated for up to 4 days.
 - Reheat muffins gently in the microwave or oven before serving.
