Instructions
- Cut Sauce: Open your can of jellied cranberry sauce and carefully cut into approximately ½ inch thick discs, about two full “ribs” as imprinted on the can.
 - Freeze Rounds: Place the cranberry sauce discs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Freeze for at least 30 minutes to firm up the slices. You can freeze longer if preparing in advance. Skipping this step is possible but makes dipping more challenging.
 - Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips with the optional coconut oil. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir. Continue heating in 15-second increments, stirring after each, until the chocolate mixture is fully melted and smooth.
 - Dip: Remove the cranberry slices from the freezer. Using a fork, submerge each slice completely into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back onto the lined baking sheet. Repeat until all slices are coated.
 - Harden: Return the chocolate-coated cranberry bites to the freezer for about 30 minutes until the chocolate fully sets. Once hardened, enjoy your tasty dark chocolate covered cranberry sauce bites!
