Ingredients
Scale
Base
- 8 cups Water (adjust based on concentration preference)
- Juice of 6 fresh lemons (freshly squeezed)
- To taste tablespoons Sugar (can substitute with honey or agave syrup)
Peach Puree
- 4–5 fresh peaches (ripe and juicy)
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup lemonade base (from the prepared mixture)
Garnish
- Fresh mint leaves (to taste)
- Extra peach slices (as needed for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare Lemonade Base: In a large pitcher, combine 8 cups of water with the freshly squeezed juice from 6 lemons. Add sugar to taste and stir thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved. This forms your lemonade base.
- Prepare Peaches: Rinse 4-5 fresh peaches under cool water. Cut each peach in half, remove the pits, and then slice into quarters. Set aside a few slices to use as garnish later.
- Blend Peaches: In a blender, combine the sliced peaches with 1 cup of the lemonade base and the tablespoon of fresh mint leaves. Blend until smooth and well combined.
- Strain (Optional): For a smoother texture, strain the blended peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp and any solids.
- Combine Mixture: Pour the peach puree back into the large pitcher containing the remaining lemonade base. Stir well to integrate all flavors evenly.
- Serve: Fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour the peach lemonade over the ice, garnishing each glass with reserved peach slices and fresh mint leaves for added aroma and visual appeal.
- Adjust Flavor: Taste your peach lemonade and adjust the sweetness or tartness with additional sugar or lemon juice if desired before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for maximum sweetness and flavor.
- Adjust sugar or sweetener according to your preference or dietary needs.
- For a sparkling version, replace part of the water with sparkling water just before serving.
- The optional straining step helps to make the lemonade smoother but can be skipped for a more rustic texture.
- Mint leaves add fresh flavor but can be omitted if unavailable.
