Scale
Base
- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder
Liquid (Hot)
- 0.5 cup hot water or herbal tea
Liquid (Cold/Flavoring)
- 0.5 cup unsweetened cranberry or pomegranate juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
- Pinch pink salt (optional)
Instructions
- Bloom the gelatin: Mix 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin powder with 2–3 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes to fully absorb the liquid and become gelatinous.
- Heat water or herbal tea: Bring the remaining liquid (about 0.5 cup) of water or herbal tea to a boil. Remove from heat.
- Combine gelatin and hot liquid: Whisk the bloomed gelatin into the hot water or tea until it dissolves completely and the mixture is smooth.
- Add flavoring: Stir in 0.5 cup of unsweetened cranberry or pomegranate juice along with 1 teaspoon lemon juice and a pinch of pink salt, if using. Mix well.
- Serve warm: Pour the mixture into a mug and sip slowly over 10 to 15 minutes for a comforting warm beverage.
- Or chill to set: For chilled gelatin cubes, pour the mixture into a shallow dish or mold and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until fully set. Then cut into cubes for a refreshing, bite-sized treat.
Notes
- Use unsweetened cranberry or pomegranate juice for the best health benefits and flavor balance.

- The chilled gelatin cubes can be stored in the fridge for 5–7 days or frozen for up to 1 month.
