  2. Assemble Fruit Skewers: Using 12 toothpicks, thread 1 whole strawberry, 1 whole blackberry, and 2-3 blueberries each to create colorful fruit skewers.
  3. Assemble Meat and Cheese Skewers: On the remaining 12 toothpicks, thread 1 cube of cheddar cheese, 1 cube of pepper jack cheese, 2 slices of salami, and 2 slices of pepperoni per skewer.
  4. Fill the Cups: In each plastic cup, place one fruit skewer, one meat and cheese skewer, one cracker, two chocolate covered pretzels, and one macaron or cookie.
  5. Serve: Serve the individual charcuterie cups immediately to keep the fresh fruits crisp and the snacks at their best. Enjoy this easy and elegant treat!

Notes

  • Use toothpicks long enough (6-inch) for easy skewer assembly and picking.
  • Substitute the macarons with any preferred small cookie or sweet treat.
  • Chocolate covered pretzels can be swapped for plain pretzels for less sweetness.
  • These cups are best served fresh due to the fruit and crunchy texture components.
  • For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free crackers and pretzels.
