  • Diet: Low Fat

Description

These No-Bake Brownie Protein Bites are a quick, delicious, and healthy snack perfect for satisfying sweet cravings while boosting your protein intake. Made with almond flour, chocolate whey protein, cocoa powder, and nut butter, they combine rich chocolate flavors with a chewy texture. These bites require no baking, making them an easy and convenient treat to prepare and enjoy any time.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Almond flour (or almond meal)
  • 2 Scoops Whey Protein (chocolate flavor)
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa powder
  • ½ Cup Mini chocolate chips (Dark)

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Almond butter (or cashew or sunflower butter)
  • 2 Tbsp Honey (or maple syrup)
  • 2 Tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In a medium bowl, add together the almond flour, chocolate whey protein, cocoa powder, almond butter, honey, and water to begin forming the dough for the protein bites.
  2. Mix well: Using a silicone spatula, thoroughly mix all the ingredients until a cohesive dough forms. This will ensure even distribution of flavors and consistency.
  3. Shape into balls: Take portions of the dough and roll them into approximately 1-inch diameter balls, making them perfect bite-sized snacks.
  4. Coat with chocolate chips: Spread the mini chocolate chips on a plate, then roll each dough ball over the chocolate chips to coat the exterior evenly, adding an extra layer of chocolatey goodness.
  5. Chill & store: Place the coated balls on a parchment-lined pan and chill in the refrigerator until firm. They can be served immediately after chilling or stored in the fridge for later consumption.

Notes

  • You can substitute almond butter with cashew or sunflower butter depending on your preference or allergies.
  • Maple syrup can be used instead of honey for a vegan alternative.
  • For a firmer texture, chill the bites longer before serving.
  • Store these protein bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Use dark chocolate mini chips for a richer taste and less sugar.
